The rate covers the crew, the truck and the equipment. Nothing appears on the invoice later that should have been in the price.

Included in every move. Labour and gas. A clean, fully equipped truck. Basic cargo protection for household goods, plus property and general liability insurance. Furniture disassembly and reassembly. Loading and unloading. Tools, hand trucks, dollies and straps. Moving pads and secure wrapping. Unlimited stretch wrap and tape. Free use of wardrobe boxes. TV unmounting and custom packing. Floor, wall and door frame protection. Removal of packing materials after the move. Taxes and transaction fees. Support seven days a week.

Stairs and long carries are included too — worth checking against any other quote you’re holding, because plenty of movers bill both as extras.

Priced separately. A flat $99 truck and fuel charge, the same whatever size truck the job needs. Packing materials such as boxes, paper and bubble wrap. Handling for any single item over 250 lbs — pianos, gun safes, treadmills, pool tables and similar — at $200 per item. Overnight storage. Speciality crating for antiques and delicate items. A cancellation fee if you cancel.

One rule to know before you book. If your two addresses are more than 10 miles apart, drive time is billed at double. That’s standard across the industry, and it’s how the time between the two homes is accounted for. We’d rather you read it here than find it on an invoice.

All of it is quoted together when you price your move online, so you see one total rather than a base rate with additions.
